CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - And then there were five.
William McFadden has joined the mayoral race as the fifth official candidate in the upcoming election in Charlottetown.
The nominations officially closed at 2 p.m. Friday.
McFadden, a local actor and playwright, is the last person to declare his candidacy in the Charlottetown mayoral race.
The other candidates are Philip Brown, Kim Devine, Jamie Larkin and Cecil Villard.
Nov. 5 is election day for all municipalities in P.E.I.
