Route 2 in Western P.E.I., also known as the Western Road, was closed for several hours Saturday following a single-vehicle accident in the morning.

The closure was between the Howlan Road (Route 143) and Duvar Road (Route 146), near Bloomfield.

RCMP attended the scene but were not prepared to report further details about the crash.
