ALBERTON, P.E.I. — Visitor precautions were lifted at Maplewood Manor on Sept. 12.
However, Health P.E.I. is asking visitors to only visit their own family members as residents continue to recover from the respiratory illness that caused the visitor precautions.
Visitors should refrain from visiting a health care facility any time they feel unwell.
Health P.E.I encourages visitors to always practise good hand hygiene when entering and existing a facility and a patient’s or resident’s room.
Alcohol-based hand rub stations are available throughout health care facilities for this purpose.
