The wheels will soon be spinning on Victoria Park’s bike lane as the City of Charlottetown gets set to open it May 1.
Vehicular traffic will be allowed to drive one-way through the park on the outside lane closest to the water.
The inside lane will be for wheeling traffic, including bicycles, scooters, skateboards, inline skates and other self-propelled wheeling devices.
Anyone who uses the cycling lane must wear a helmet.
Walkers and runners are not allowed to use the cycling lane, which will stay open until Oct. 31.
