Vehicle catches fire at Charlottetown Wendy’s

No one was injured following a vehicle fire at the Wendy’s and Tim Hortons restaurant on University Avenue Saturday morning.

Charlottetown Police received a call at 11:04 a.m. of a vehicle on fire at 643 University Ave.

 

The Charlottetown fire department and police arrived on scene shortly thereafter and put the fire out.

The vehicle in flames was a grey Ford F-150.

The incident is not under investigation by police.

“There’s nothing from our end to believe that it was suspicious in nature,”said Sergeant David Pound.
