UPDATED: Wind warning issued for Confederation Bridge starting Monday, Nov. 23

A wind warning advisory has been issued for the Confederation Bridge on Monday. 

According to a site-specific forecast received from the Rowan Williams Davies and Irwin Weather Services, wind conditions may result in traffic restrictions from approximately 7 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24. 

The forecast has wind speeds of 80 gusting up to 90 km/h for parts of Monday and gusts up to 90 km/h continuing into Tuesday. 

Motorists should check www.confederationbridge.com for updates before heading to the bridge.
