UPDATE: RCMP identify suspect following North River robbery

Public should stay away from potentially armed man and call police

NORTH RIVER, P.E.I. — Police have identified 26-year-old Michael Hollinger as the suspect in a robbery that happened in North River Tuesday afternoon.

Officers are still attempting to locate Hollinger.

The robbery occurred at the Quick Mart in North River on June 11 just before 4:36 p.m.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police say the suspect is estimated to be approximately 5'10" and 190 pounds.

He has a distinct tattoo "Loyalty" on the side of his neck.

Police said he may be driving a blue Mazda or  Ford with the P.E.I. licence plate number 374WW.

The RCMP cautions people not to approach the man as he may be armed and he could be dangerous.
