UPDATE: Charlottetown police arrest man in armed robbery incident

A 65-year-old woman, who police say was drunk, lost control of her vehicle and struck three parked vehicles in Charlottetown Thursday morning.

UPDATE: Charlottetown police arrested a man in connection to the armed robbery at Nick’s Food Market reported on Friday.

A 36-year-old Charlottetown man has been charged with amed robbery and has been remanded in custody.   

He will appear in Provincial Court Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m.

The man entered the business Jan. 17 wearing a mask and demanding money while holding a firearm.
