A 36-year-old man who drove his victim around at a high speed, made threats and assaulted them was sentenced recently to four months in jail.
William Charles MacDougall appeared before Chief Judge Nancy Orr in provincial court in Charlottetown for sentencing on charges of unlawful confinement, assault and uttering a threat.
MacDougall will be on probation for two years and will be under a weapons prohibition for 10 years. He has been in custody since his arrest and was given credit of 75 days for time already served.
