Tulips by the millions fill P.E.I. field

Along with their friend, Michelle O’Hanley, they are among the people of all ages who have been coming to see the 47-acre field where about 10 million bulbs have been planted by Vanco Farms Ltd. and are now blooming in beautiful spring colours.

When the bulbs are harvested, some will be planted in the company’s greenhouses on P.E.I., while others will be sold to municipalities and parks, as well as to other growers across the country.
