SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Avery Brian Clements, 23, of Travellers Rest has pleaded guilty to two counts of stealing merchandise valued at less than $5,000.

The charges are from businesses in Summerside and Borden-Carleton and took place on Jan. 17.

Clements was given a suspended sentence and must serve 12 months of probation.
