Tip Er Back to host Sept. 16 ceilidh

Tip Er Back will be hosting a ceilidh on Sunday, Sept. 16, at the Afton Community Centre.

The band will perform traditional Maritime music as well as some new songs off its recent recording, “Old P.E.I.”.

Special guest will be fiddler Allison Ling Giggey. She spent eight summers at Avonlea Village in Cavendish as a musician. Darlene Bradley will also perform.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.

A complimentary lunch of tea and biscuits will be served, and a 50/50 draw will take place.
