SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — An 18-year-old Tignish man was in provincial court recently for not stopping for police.

Gavin Joseph Perry pleaded guilty to one count of failing to stop a vehicle when prompted to do so by a police officer.

The charge is from June 15 in Summerside.

Perry was sentenced to serve 21 days in conditional custody, 12 months of probation and is prohibited from driving for 12 months.
