Summerside woman gets jail time for theft

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 32-year-old Summerside woman has pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of stolen property, theft of merchandise valued at less than $5,000 and one count of failing to attend court.

Jenifer Elizabeth Sophia Perry was sentenced to serve 21 days in jail and 18 months of probation.

The charges are from incidents between July and November 2018, in Summerside and Charlottetown.
