SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Stormwater runoff along 359 Water St. may get bumped up on the city’s priority list.

Coun. Cory Snow said he’d been approached by residents of the building who say their walkways, which are along the Cedar Street side of the building, have been eroding and washing away because there is no curb between them and the road. There is also an issue with standing water near the bottom of Cedar Street.

Snow encouraged council to look at making curbing in this area a priority. Council indicated the next budget deliberations would be an appropriate place to do so.
