Summerside police find possible stolen jewelry in man’s pocket while making arrest

SUMMERSIDE – Police in Summerside want to track down the owner of a piece of jewelry they believe to be stolen property.

Just after midnight Monday, officers arrested a man for attempting to steal from a vehicle in the Water Street area.

Police found an item of jewelry in the man’s pocket that they suspect had been stolen.

Anyone who has been the victim of theft from their vehicle or otherwise where jewelry is missing is asked to contact Summerside Police Services at 902-432-1201.
