SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 44-year-old Summerside man was sentenced to time in jail for break and enter charges from early August.

Jason Ronald Ancel Ballum pleaded guilty to two counts of breaking and entering into a Summerside home and one count of breaching a court undertaking.

The charges are from Aug. 11 and 25 in Summerside.

Ballum was sentenced to serve 23 days in jail but received credit for equivalent of two days he’d already spent in custody. He must also remain on probation for 18 months.
