Summerside man pleads guilty to using a stolen credit card

SUMMERSIDE – Allan Joseph Gallant, 49, of Summerside has pleaded guilty to a number of criminal charges against him.

The charges include two counts of using a stolen credit card at two Summerside businesses, two counts of breaching his probation, one count of possession of a Schedule 1 substance (cocaine), theft of property valued at less than $5,000, two counts of failing to appear in court as required by a judge.

The charges are all from late 2018 and early 2019 in Summerside and Charlottetown.

Gallant was sentenced to serve 141 days in jail, though he received credit for 11 days he’s spent in jail since his arrest, and 18 months of probation.
