SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 40-year-old Summerside man was arrested and charged Sunday afternoon after Summerside police responded to a domestic assault at a motel on Water Street.

The call came in at about 1 p.m. on March 17.

The victim did not sustain any serious injuries.

The accused will appear in court at a later date. He’s facing charges of assault and damage to property.
