CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — On Sunday, Sept. 13, crews will be installing two overhead sign structures on the Charlottetown Perimeter Highway and two overhead sign structures on Route 2 - St. Peters Road in the vicinity of the intersection.
For safety reasons, there will be two stoppages in traffic on the Charlottetown Perimeter Highway and two on Route 2 - St. Peters Road for about 20 minutes each while a crane lifts and places each of the sign structures over the road.
No traffic will be permitted through the site while these structures are being hoisted in place during these 20-minute periods.
The public is asked to reduce speed and to obey signs and traffic control personnel. Traffic should be prepared to stop.
Weather permitting, this work is expected to take place between the hours of 7 and 11 a.m.
