CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Kent Building Supplies staff are back in the Charlottetown store after it was evacuated earlier today.

A Charlottetown police officer at the scene said the police responded to a report of an employee hearing a hissing sound near a propane tank.

The Charlottetown Fire Department also responded with several trucks but left the scene at around 1 p.m. when staff were allowed back in the building.
