St. Edward man guilty of threats, assault

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. – Jody Peter Gaudet, 42, of St. Edward, has pleaded guilty to one count of assaulting a woman and three counts of threatening to kill three women, one of which was the assault victim.

The charge is from July 6 in St. Edward.

Gaudet was sentenced to serve seven days in jail, which he received permission to serve intermittently. He must also serve 18 months of probation and pay $400 in victim surcharges.
