SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Summerside Coun. Brian McFeely wants to see the city develop a speeding reduction and crosswalk safety strategy.

McFeely pointed out that speeding on city streets or other traffic related concerns are among the most often heard complaints by all councillors. He recommended the city adopt some kind of plan, which would include an education campaign, innovative infrastructure installation and traffic enforcement.

Council and staff took the suggestion under advisement.
