SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 29-year-old Slemon Park man is in custody after a break-in at a Ninth Street residence in Slemon Park yesterday afternoon.
The victim had left the residence and returned a few hours later to find the house had been broken into and an iPad had been stolen.
The victim was able to idenitfy a suspect who is an acquaintance of the victim and lives nearby.
The man was arrested late in the evening of Feb. 21 as he returned home and police were still on the scene of the break-in.
The man will be appearing before the court today to face charges of breaking and entering along with possession of stolen property.
