Significant snow, rain or ice pellets expected for much of P.E.I.

Islanders will be getting a heavy mix of precipitation for Tuesday until Wednesday morning.

Ice pellets are most likely to develop over western areas of the Island and rain over eastern areas.

However, on a special weather statement by Environment Canada, there is a lot of uncertainty in precipitation type and this forecast could change.

Islanders are asked to continue to monitor alerts and forecasts.
