The search for a new deputy police chief continues in Charlottetown.
Deputy Police Chief Gary McGuigan retired earlier this year. The police department continues to work with the city’s human resources branch on the process of identifying suitable candidates for the deputy chief and constable vacancies in the department.
The written test procedures were to have taken place on Aug. 28-29. Expressions of interest have also been posted regarding lateral movement in street crime. Those include a corporal and constable position.
