This year, Home Instead Senior Care contacted various organizations across the Island looking for names of seniors who may need an extra bit of Christmas cheer with a small gift from a stranger. Names were doled out, as well as a small list of items each individual wanted on gift tags that members of the public could pick up. With the initiative in its final phase, students from the resident care worker program with Marguerite Connolly Training and Consulting are dropping off the gifts. “It’s so heartwarming to see the looks on the seniors’ faces at just the simplest gift. It was so humbling. It’s an experience I wish everyone could feel,” said Jalessa Perry, shown wrapping one of the gifts. - Millicent McKay STORY CONTINUES BELOW THESE SALTWIRE VIDEOS Olive Tapenade & Vinho Verde | SaltWire Watch on YouTube: "Olive Tapenade & Vinho Verde | SaltWire" Watch on .
