Roxanne Carter-Thompson seeking Liberal nomination in Parkdale-Sherwood

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - Roxanne Carter-Thompson has announced she will seek the Liberal nomination for District 11, Parkdale-Sherwood.

Carter-Thompson has worked with the Adventure Group since 1993, developing and delivering programs that address social issues on P.E.I.

She has three children, Nathan, Betty-Jean and Thomas, with her husband, Jeff.

This past February she accepted the role as chairwoman of the Poverty Reduction Advisory Council.

She has also sat on various boards and committees over the years and actively participates and volunteers in charity events.

The District 11 nomination meeting will be held Nov. 21 at Birchwood Intermediate School.

Registration opens at 6 p.m., and the meeting starts at 7 p.m.
