Road closure on Beach Grove Road and Great George Street in Charlottetown

The City of Charlottetown is warning the public that the south lane on Beach Grove Road between Parkside Drive and Lewis Point Road will be closed Thursday.

The closure is necessary to allow the Water and Sewer Utility Department to install water and sewer services. 

Also closed for the day Thursday will be the inner south lane on Great George Street between Euston and Fitzroy in order to allow the Water and Sewer Utility Department to repair a service leak. 

Sidewalks in the construction areas will remain open.

The city advises motorists to seek alternate routes and the Utility Department apologizes for any inconvenience to the public.
