A Retreat Day for Men, who desire to deepen their relationship with Jesus, will be offered on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Martha Spirituality Centre at SDU Place on Great George Street using the entry door at the back of this building.
Christianity first emerged not as a new religion, but as a reform and a sect of Judaism within Judea and the Mediterranean.
Wherever Paul and Peter travelled, they formed small communities of believers in “The Way,” a movement that emphasized Jesus’ teachings, death, and resurrection as the path to transformation.
Several writings illustrate this early commitment to Jesus’ teachings on simplicity and generosity.
Facilitator Gilles Michaud, together with the retreatants, will unpack these teachings in a prayerful and reflective way.
People need to register on or before Oct. 26 by calling 902-367-3103 or messaging [email protected] A suggested fee is $30. Men are asked to bring a brown bag lunch.
