Registration now open for select fall programs in Charlottetown

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown's parks and recreation department is now accepting registrations for select fall programs.

The after-school tennis program begins on Tuesday, Sept. 15, and runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Victoria Park tennis courts. 

Groups will be divided according to age categories as follows: ages 4-5 and ages 6-10, 4-5 p.m.; ages 11-18, 5:15-6:15 p.m.

Registration fees are $40 for Charlottetown residents and $55 for non-residents, and the program runs for eight sessions, until Oct. 8. 

The adult morning fitness classes are also back beginning on Monday, Sept. 14, and will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9-10 a.m., at the West Royalty Community Centre. 

The registration fee for Charlottetown residents is $108.10 (including HST) and non-residents is $129.95 (including HST). 

This fitness class will run for 40 sessions, until Dec. 18. There will be no drop-ins allowed for this class as participant numbers are limited.
