SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Prince District RCMP are looking for a driver that left the scene of a single vehicle collision this morning on Route 109 in Kelvin Grove.
The road has been closed for a period of time due to downed power lines and an electrical pole that was damaged in the accident.
Maritime Electric responded to the electrical issues.
RCMP received a call about the accident at around 9:03 a.m. The driver had fled the scene by the time police officers arrived.
Kensington fire department was also at the scene.
Sgt. Darrell Gill said the main priority is to locate the driver and ensure they are OK.
