STRATFORD, P.E.I. — A 36-year-old Stratford man has been arrested for drunk driving.

Just before midnight on Saturday, May 23, Queens District RCMP conducted a traffic check-stop in Stratford.

The man was arrested and provided samples of his breath which were more than double the legal limit.

With COVID-19 restrictions being lifted and warmer weather across the province, the RCMP will be conducting more check-stops in an attempt to remove impaired drivers from Island roads.
