A Prince County man has lost his car and his license after he was found driving while impaired on the weekend.
On Saturday, Nov. 21, RCMP responded to a complaint about a possible impaired driver on Lennox Island.
An officer pulled over the car and the driver, a 37-year-old man, showed signs of intoxication.
He was arrested and taken to the East Prince RCMP detachment where he provided breath samples. The driver's readings were almost three times over the legal limit.
He stayed in provincial jail for the night. The next day, he was released and issued a 90-day driving prohibition. His vehicle was impounded at his expense for 30 days. The man is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
