Preliminary approval granted for Phase 2 of Cornwall development

CORNWALL, P.E.I. — Preliminary approval has been granted for Phase 2 of the West River Estates development.

Council voted unanimously during a recent meeting to allow the next phase of the more than 120-unit subdivision to proceed.

Council held a public meeting in March to show residents the development concept.

The approval is also subject to the province of P.E.I. approving a second egress, required because the subdivision exceeds 100 units, and the developer entering into a development agreement with the town.
