Pownal house fire leaves woman displaced

The Canadian Red Cross has arranged emergency lodging for a woman who has been displaced following a house fire Sunday afternoon.

The fire caused extensive damage to the woman’s house, located at 709 Pownal Road.

Red Cross volunteers will also assist the woman with other aid like clothing and food purchases if needed.

There were no injuries from the fire.
