That poll found 39 per cent of decided and leaning voters would likely choose the Liberals.
The PC Party was next at 31 per cent of decided or leaning voters, followed by the Green party at 22 per cent.
The NDP was last at seven per cent.
MQO Research conducted the poll by phone from July 3-15 and contacted 400 eligible voters selected at random across P.E.I.
Among the people contacted for the poll, 22 per cent said they were undecided or didn’t know who they would vote for.
The margin of error is plus or minus 4.9 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
Among decided and leaning voters, the margin of error is plus or minus 5.9 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
