The road near the entrance to Charlottetown Rural High School was the top speed trap in Charlottetown in the month of June.
Police issued 10 speeding tickets to vehicles on University Avenue by Enman Crescent.
There was a tie for second place.
Seven speeding tickets were issued on University Avenue by McKinnon Road (near the entrance to UPEI) and on Brackley Point Road by Maple Hills Avenue, which intersects with MacAleer Drive.
There was also a tie for third place.
Six tickets were issued on the arterial highway between Brackley Point Road and St. Peters Road and on Brighton Road by the Brighton Compound (near Victoria Park).
In fourth place was University Avenue by Brown’s Court where five speeding tickets were issued.
Rounding out the top five was Fourth Street, which connects the West Royalty Industrial Park with the arterial highway, where four tickets were issued.
