Prince Edward Island's unemployment numbers for June have dropped slightly from the previous month, leaving the province with the second highest unemployment rate in the country next to Newfoundland and Labrador.
Canada’s national unemployment rate was six per cent. With an 8.9 per cent unemployment rate, P.E.I.’s was nearly three per cent higher than the national average.
