A word from SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day:

“We’re back on the temperature rollercoaster as a series of frontal systems track across the province. Yesterday’s mild south wind has shifted to the north behind a slow-moving cold front. Showers will linger until the front moves offshore later today; the latter part of the weekend will be bright. Get ready for a wardrobe change on the weekend. I continue to track tropical storm Epsilon. Right now, landfall is not likely; there will be some wind from the south ahead of the offshore storm on Saturday, then from the north in the wake of the departing low on Sunday.”
