A word from SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day:

“The wind is always important, but in November it can be the difference between shirt sleeves and a parka. Yesterday’s icy north wind has diminished and is slowly coming around to the south; by Friday, afternoon temperatures across the Island will be in the low teens. The milder weather comes with clouds and showers but not heavy or steady rain. As was the case last weekend, we’ll start with above seasonal temperature on Saturday, but Sunday will be windy and colder. Onshore flurries are also in the cards for Sunday so plan travel accordingly.”
