It will be a wet and windy day across the province Tuesday.
SaltWire meteorologist Cindy Day said Hurricane Teddy is expected to strike the Maritimes as a strong post-tropical storm and that P.E.I. could see between 60 and 80 millimetres of rain. She said Islanders should start to feel effects from the storm around supper time Tuesday, with sustained winds around 65 km/h or stronger.

- WAVES: 1 metre or less building to 1 to 2 metres in the afternoon and to 2 to 3 metres in the evening.

**Wind warning advisory: Wind conditions on Tuesday, Sept. 22 may result in restrictions of traffic on the Confederation Bridge beginning at about 6 p.m. Tuesday until about 11 p.m. Wednesday.**
Attention: Restrictions on interprovincial traffic (within the Atlantic provinces only) due to COVID-19 have been lifted and the bridge is open to all traffic. **Advisory: All sailings have been cancelled for Sept. 22 due to forecasted weather conditions.**
