Weather
A mix of sun and cloud Tuesday with a high of 2 C and a low of -3 C.
A word from SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day:
“Yesterday’s cold front brought the wind around to the northwest. That can be a cool breeze, but it’s certainly drier and it’s responsible for the sunshine. Enjoy the break, the weather picture gets busy later this week. Clouds will roll in on Thursday ahead of a well-defined system that has the potential to whiten things up a little. The snow will start Thursday night and change to rain Friday, before going over to snow again Friday evening. Snowfall totals could be in the five- to seven-centimetre range across the province. Saturday and Easter Sunday look fair with a mix of sun and cloud. By Sunday evening, the next in the series of weather makers will race north of the Island. This will be a wet and windy weather-maker that’s expected to linger on Monday.”
