Weather
A word from the SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day:
A warm front reaching down from a northern low has taken the chill out of the air.
Get out and enjoy the mild day, it’s not going to last.
A dry cold front will cool things down again as we coast into the weekend.
The weekend looks fair; we’ll enjoy a lovely bright Saturday, followed by increasing clouds on Sunday.
A developing system is expected to track up the Ohio Valley, push eastward off the coast, then track across Nova Scotia.
It looks like we will stay on the cooler side with snow starting Sunday evening, continuing into Monday.
Right now, I believe the heaviest snow will fall across Queens county: 15 to 20 centimetres.
Totals should be closer to five to 10 cm over Prince and Kings counties by midday Monday.
