Weather  - Warnings in effect over P.E.I.

A scary fall storm that postponed Halloween in parts of Quebec will track up the St. Lawrence Valley and on to southern Labrador over the next 36 hours. Wind and rainfall warnings are in effect. In some places, rain totals will reach 75 mm. Friday’s near-record heat will be accompanied by wind gusts to 100 km/h. The colder side of the storm will dump as much as 15 cm of snow over Labrador City. As the storm pulls off Newfoundland’s Northern Peninsula, the wind will shift to the west and bring our temperatures back to where they should be for the weekend.
