Weather
A word from SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day:
SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day says there will be cloudy skies to start the day today with a strong northwest wind.
Islanders are reminded to bundle up, as temperatures across the province will be -17 C, but with the wind chill it will feel like -27 C.
“We’re not expecting a big warm up through the day,” Day said, adding the sunshine will return tomorrow.
“Saturday is going to be very cold as well, but not as windy so you won’t have to deal with as much wind chill."
The temperatures will warm up on Sunday as a little Alberta Clipper comes through.
