CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - Allen Victor Jefferson has been found, RCMP said Monday night. 

Police had been searching for Jefferson, 48, of Stratford since early in the afternoon around the Maypoint Road area of Charlottetown. 

Queens District RCMP said in a news release just after 7 p.m. Monday that Jefferson had been located.
