P.E.I. police investigating suspicious fire at vacant Georgetown shipyard

The RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating after a man was killed in a single-vehicle accident early Monday morning in Langley.

GEORGETOWN, P.E.I. —

A vehicle burnt inside a vacant eastern P.E.I. shipyard over the weekend as a result of what police are indicating was a suspicious fire.

The RCMP is investigating the fire that broke out at Georgetown’s East Isle Shipyard on Sunday, sometime between 12:30 and 2 p.m.

The vehicle inside the building was destroyed.
