CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A young man who spent almost $1,000 on stolen credit cards was sentenced to time served, which was credited at seven months.
Samuel David Matthews, 26, pleaded guilty to 13 offences, which included stealing merchandise from the Gap and Atlantic Superstore in Charlottetown in addition to snatching numerous credit cards from vehicles.
Matthews told the court he is sorry for his actions and wants to stay sober and get a college education.
