DESABLE, P.E.I. — A 58-year-old DeSable man has died after his home caught fire on Sunday night.
Around midnight on Sept. 15, Queens District RCMP responded to a house fire in DeSable.
The man was already dead when firefighters found him inside the home as they worked to bring the fire under control.
The victim was the homeowner and he was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for an autopsy.
The structure was a complete loss. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the P.E.I. Fire Marshal's Office.
